Eloping?
Yes, we are eloping or having more of a "micro-wedding" since our guest list expanded a bit! But it isn't like the old days, but more so the modern take of an elopement.
In its original usage, "elopement" typically refers to a couple getting married in a sudden, secretive, or private manner, often without the knowledge or approval of their families or a large ceremony. Today it often reflects a deliberate choice for intimacy, simplicity, or practical reasons rather than a rebellious act. The emphasis is on the couple's desire for a personal and meaningful wedding experience outside traditional norms. An elopement beautifully combines traditional and non-traditional elements, allowing you to create your day exactly as you've imagined it.
So just like much of our relationship, we're doing this our way. This involves our elopement ceremony and immediately followed by our dinner party.
RSVP Note
Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate plus ones for married couples, engaged couples, and couples in long-term relationships. Your invitation notifies you if you are able to bring a plus one.
Please also make arrangements for children, as our event is designed with adults in mind.
What About Seating?
There won't be assigned seating for the ceremony and dinner. Since both will take place in the same room without any changes to décor or tables, you're free to choose your seat strategically.
Pick a spot where you'll have the best view and can hear everything clearly during the ceremony.
Dress Attire
We're looking forward to celebrating with you at our elopement ceremony and dinner party! The dress code for the evening is casual chic - relaxed yet stylish.
Please come dressed in comfortable yet polished attire. Think of it as a step above everyday casual but not as formal as a black-tie event.
Suggestions:
Casual slacks
Stylish dresses or skirts
Nice tops or blouses
We can't wait to celebrate this special evening with you all!
Venue Parking
There is on-site parking at the venue, but it is limited. Additionally, there is limited street parking available. If possible, we encourage carpooling to help offset the limited parking.
Please note that spots will be reserved for handicap parking near the front entrance.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Alcohol Notice
There will be some alcohol provided. Each table will have a bottle of sparkling wine and a bottle of sparkling cider for the toasts.
There will also be a bar with a couple of drink options available so the drinks will be flowing a smidgen. However, since the amount of alcohol is limited, please feel free to bring your own bottle if you'd like more variety or quantity.
